NOT-so-TINY Tim

HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY, KYLE!

Kyle is Eleven years old today. He is traveling over-the-road with his Dad. Last I spoke to him, he was in Indianapolis, on his way to Arkansas. I'll talk to him tonight after 9pm. I'm sure he is having a memorable birthday! We miss him and Love him Lots.

Life Goes On!

NEWSFLASH! Got a JOB @ local coffee/sandwich/gift shop. Love It! Paninis, how cool is that? (or hot actually). Now i have to learn the difference between Latte, Chai Latte, Espresso, and everything Coffee!

Just in time, too! As soon as i finished the curtains for neighbor they locked us out of their internet!... I KNOW! it is their internet they can do whatever they want. However, just as soon as I finished their curtains??? and i was trying to work part time selling on ebay?? COLD-Blooded!

Also the boys are attending Kids College @ the nearby Christian Camp. They are learning Archery, Balloon Animals, Woodworking and Electronics. Kyle accepted CHRIST into his heart. He has done this before, but felt led to do it again!

Lazy, Hazy Summer Days ~*~*~*~*~

Vacation Bible School this week. I am glad it is in the afternoon. We have been staying up late (Craig Ferguson, I KNOW!).

We can walk/bike to VBS.

No need to pay for gas this week. Although the price has come down a little. $3.88 here.

Sewing some curtains for a neighbor.

Wild life visitors from the woods: two foxes, raccoons, bunnies, and the smell of a skunk. The foxes and the raccoons come right up to the house looking for food. They scare easily. The foxes are getting bolder. I threw a basketball at them tonight. Missed them - they are quick!

The Little Tiger Stripe by Kyle's foot is Tiny Tim. He has Cerebral Hypoplasia. He has his good weeks and his bad weeks. He has special needs. My daughter (Bri) is caring for him until she leaves for a job in Japan. Then Tiny Tim will come home to Me and my Boys.

The Kitten loves the computer.
~I guess because it is warmy and clicky.
He chases the cursor across the screen.
When he tires of not catching it,
he will curl up for a nap in between your typing hands.
If only he could learn to type, then we would know what he is thinking.
Perhaps it is better not to know?

Today's Kitten Story

I was out on the front deck, on the phone, sunning my legs, when I heard a plaintive kitten cry. I opened the door, expecting to see a kitten in imminent danger or some kind of peril. My two sons, mama kitty, and kittens were nowhere in sight. Suddenly a small black and white furball came running full tilt at my feet. He was alone and not okay with that! I picked him up and went in search of the others. We located them outside in the back yard.... 3 little kitten musketeers (or would that be: mouseketeers?) reunited and inseperable. Until we find homes for them, of course.
